Azerbaijan, Baku, 23 January /corr. Trend S.Babayeva / The State Frequency Department of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Communications & Information Technologies intends to establish the first laboratory to inspect the conformity of parameters of frequency-radiating radio-electronic means, a source stated at the department.
This laboratory envisages inspecting the conformity of equipment to technical norms. "Establishing such a laboratory is necessary, considering the growing interest in the use of radio-electronic means," the same department stated.
It will be a modern laboratory which will register all radio-electronic means, inspect quality of electronic equipment imported into the country and their conformity to international standards.
The department stated that after studying other experiences, proposals will be prepared and presented to the government with regards to conditions and possibilities for establishment of such laboratory. The proposals may be considered this year.
"It will be large project requiring huge funding and therefore, it should be thoroughly considered," the same source stated.
