BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 18. Azerbaijan produced computer equipment and electronics worth 101.1 million manat ($59.4 million) in the first half of 2022, which is 0.69 percent or 700,000 manat ($411,700) less than the same period in 2021, Trend reports with reference to the report of Azerbaijan’s State Statistics Committee.
According to the committee, production of computers, electronic and optical products in Azerbaijan increased in volume by 30.8 percent, and electrical equipment by 53.2 percent from January through June 2022 compared to the same period in 2021.
The retail trade turnover of these products amounted to 244.6 million manat ($143.8 million) in the reporting period of 2022, which is 94.7 million manat ($55.7 million) or 63.18 percent more than in the first half of 2021.
