Oman, Iran to increase number of flights

TEHRAN, Iran, Dec.23

The former Iran’s Commercial Attaché to Oman announced the launch of the flights from Muscat (Oman) to Isfahan (Iran) and on Muscat-Lar route by the Taban Airlines in January 2020.

"Furthermore, Qeshm Air will launch a new flight from Oman's Sahara to Iran's Ahvaz,” Abbas Abdolkhani said, Trend reports citing ILNA.

“There is an increase in the number of Iranian nationals traveling to Oman for trade and investment, as well as an increase in health tourism flow from Oman to Iran,” he said.

“Kish Air, Qeshm Air and Aseman AIRWAYS are currently operating flights between Muscat and Tehran, Mashhad, Shiraz, Kish and Chabahar,” Abdolkhani added.

Visa upon arrival is available to Iranian citizens arriving in Oman. It is issued within minutes at the Muscat International Airport and is valid from 10 to 30 days of stay in the country.
