BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 10. The revenues to the state budget of the Republic of Kazakhstan will increase by 17.2 percent by 2025, Minister of National Economy Alibek Kuantyrov said at the plenary session of the Senate, voicing the Forecast of the socio-economic development of Kazakhstan for 2023-2027, Trend reports citing the government.
"When forming the parameters of the state budget and the National Fund for the next three years, the tasks set by the Head of state to ensure the concept of a thrifty and responsible budget policy were taken into account. The parameters of the state budget for 2023-2025 are determined taking into account the orientation of the budget policy towards generating new sources of replenishment of its revenue base and concentrating budget expenditures on priority areas of socio-economic development,” he said.
According to Kuantyrov, the revenues to the state budget are forecasted at the level of 11.5 percent of GDP in 2023, with an increase of 37 percent from the revised plan for the current year.
"In the planning period, the revenues are expected to grow by 17.2 percent by 2025. Additional revenues to the state budget are provided through the measures taken by the government to expand the revenue base and improve tax administration, as well as reduce the share of the shadow economy,” he added.
