BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 19. The passenger traffic at the Issyk-Kul International Airport increased in the first 9 months of this year, Trend reports via the press service of the Manas International Airport OJSC.
According to statistics, Issyk-Kul International Airport based in Kyrgyzstan's Tamchy from January through September 2022 served 82,528 people, which is an increase of 8 percent over the same period in 2021.
During the reporting period, a total of 72,388 passengers were served at the international routes, and 10,140 people at domestic routes.
The total number of performed flights at the Issyk-Kul International Airport from January through September 2022 amounted to 820.
Overall, the passenger flow at Kyrgyzstan's airports in the first 9 months amounted to more than 3.9 million people, which is an increase of 35.9 percent over the same period in 2021.
