BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, November 4. Several agreements were signed following the meeting between Kyrgyzstan's Prime Minister Akylbek Japarov and the Vice President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Yingming Yang, Trend reports via the country’s Cabinet of Ministers.

Notably, Kyrgyzstan's Minister of Finance Almaz Baketaev, and the head of the ADB Representative Office in Kyrgyzstan, Zheng Wu signed the following agreements:

- a project to improve the Issyk-Kul ring road (Barskoon - Karakol),

- an additional financing for the Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Development Program in the Naryn region,

- a framework agreement for financing plans in 2025 between Kyrgyzstan and ADB.

Japarov and Yang discussed key issues of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the ADB at the meeting, including financing opportunities for infrastructure projects, sustainable development initiatives, and enhancing the region's investment attractiveness.

The PM highlighted recent achievements in the country's economic development, emphasizing the priority of implementing major strategic projects, such as the Kambarata HPP-1 and the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway.

In response, the Vice President expressed ADB's readiness to continue active cooperation and provide the necessary resources to achieve shared goals and implement important projects and initiatives for the country.
