Uzbekistan, Hungary talk joint projects for biofertilizers production

Uzbekistan and Hungary discussed the issues of implementation of joint projects for the production of biofertilizers and introduction of advanced Hungarian technologies in the agro-industrial sector of Uzbekistan, Trend reports citing the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Hungary.

According to the information, negotiations were held with the Hungarian KITE and Sentishmag, specializing in the field of the agro-industrial complex, with the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Hungary with a residence in Vienna.

It is reported that the event, which was held in the videoconference format, was attended by the Ambassador of Uzbekistan Abat Fayzullaev, the head and deputy head of the Investment Promotion Department of the Ministry of Agriculture Shukhrat Tolibov and Shukhrat Abdurakhmanov, the representative of the Uzbek company Agrologistics SA, as well as the management of the Hungarian KITE and Sentishmag companies.

During the talks, the sides discussed the implementation of joint projects for growing vegetable seeds, producing biofertilizers and, in general, introducing advanced Hungarian technologies into the agro-industrial sector of Uzbekistan.

In turn, Sentishmag confirmed its readiness to introduce Hungarian technologies and start the implementation of promising projects together with potential partners in Uzbekistan.

Also, KITE provided information on its activities, noting that KITE is one of the largest Hungarian companies in the agricultural sector. Currently, its main activities are trading in agricultural materials and tools, purchase and resale of agricultural products, distribution of seeds, provision of technical advice, training, trade, and maintenance of agricultural machinery and spare parts.

Following the meeting, the parties reached an agreement to continue negotiations for a detailed discussion of the organizational and technical issues of the implementation of projects and the achievement of practical results, during the visit of Hungarian companies to Uzbekistan in the near future.
