Two foreign delegations of investors have arrived in Iran's Chabahar Trade-Industrial Free Zone to study the opportunities for investment, an Iranian official said. Hamed Ali Mobaraki, the head of Chabahar Trade-Industrial Free Zone has said that the delegations from Afghanistan and China are in Chabahar to become familiar with the opportunities for investment in the fields of industry as well as the import and export of fruit, IRNA news agency reported. According to Mobaraki the managers of China's DOUBLE VIEW company accompanied with a group of investors have visited a petrochemical site in Chabahar as well as Beheshti Port at their arrival.
He further added that a delegation from Afghanistan's Kandhar Province also has visited the facilities in Chabahar for exporting and importing fruit. Chabahar port city is located 700 kilometers south of Zahedan in Sistan and Baluchestan Province.
