Drafting the text of Iran-P5+1 comprehensive nuclear agreement is moving forward, the Islamic Republic foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif tweeted May 4.

Iranian top diplomat called the drafting "hard work" and emphasized that many brackets (disputed issues in the text is written inside brackets) still exist.

Zarif further said that the Islamic Republic is determined to end this "manufactured crisis" and open new horizons.

The initial drafting of the Iran and the P5+1(the US, UK, France, Russia, China, and Germany) agreement text had actually started on April 22 by Iranian deputy foreign minister Abbas Araqchi and EU deputy foreign policy chief, Helga Schmid in Vienna.

The sides resumed the drafting on April 30 in New York from the point that it had been left unfinished in Vienna.

Iran and the P5+1 reached a nuclear framework agreement on April 2 in Lausanne that raised hopes for achieving a comprehensive nuclear deal by June 30. The deal provisions the removal of all international sanctions on Iran and in return narrowing the range of the country's nuclear activities.

The US and its Western allies suspect Iran of developing a nuclear weapon, something that Iran denies.
