A Palestinian worker was injured Tuesday by Israeli fire in central Gaza Strip, medical sources said, Xinhua reported.
The Israeli fire wounded the 35-year-old man in his shoulder while he was working in a rubbish dump near the border, said Adham Abu Selmeya, spokesman of the Palestinian medical services, adding the man's injury was moderate.
The Israeli army has targeted Palestinians, mostly scrap collectors and farmers, who enter a 300-meter-wide buffer zone along Gaza-Israel borderline.
