The Algerian authorities have ordered the family of Libya's overthrown leader Muammar Gaddafi to stop all political activities, Al Jazeera reported. Gaddafi's family earlier received a political asylum in Algeria.

Algerian Foreign Minister Mourad Medelci has urged Gaddafi's daughter Aisha and other members of Gaddafi's family to stop any political activities while they are in Algeria.

Earlier, Aisha made a statement that her father is in good condition and continues his struggle.

In a audio recording that was broadcast on a Syrian-based television channel on Sept.24 Aisha Gaddafi accused the country's new leaders of being traitors, noting that some of them were members of Gaddafi's regime before defecting in the civil war.
