A series of explosions hit the Iraqi capital Baghdad and the city of Al-Hillah on Wednesday, Al-Jazeera TV channel reported.
According to preliminary data, 42 people were killed and hundreds injured.
In Al-Hillah explosions were committed by two car bombs. According to law enforcement agencies, the cause of the explosion in Baghdad was a bomb placed close to one of the restaurants.
The circumstances of the terror attacks, as well as the number of dead and injured people are currently being specified.
