One man was killed and three other people injured when a man opened fire on guests during a talent contest at a restaurant in the Dutch city of Rotterdam, police said Saturday, dpa reported.
The 45-year-old gunman was arrested.
Shortly after midnight, the man had stood up in Cafe Laurenshof and pulled out a gun and fired. No one was injured.
He then went out onto the street and fired again, fatally hitting a 46-year-old passerby. Three other men sustained bullet wounds.
Restaurant patrons managed to overpower the gunman whose motive was not known, according to police.
