Five persons were killed while seven others critically injured in a blast at a fireworks shop in eastern Pakistan on Thursday, Xinhua reported.
The incident was caused by the explosion of a cylinder at the fireworks shop in Faisalabad which killed five persons on the spot, according to preliminary reports, the Associated Press of Pakistan reported.
The injured were transferred to Civil Hospital and Allied Hospital of the city.
