The Philippines has one of the lowest rates of HIV infection in the region. Nevertheless, widespread sex work, inconsistent condom use, and lack of sexual education could trigger a more serious epidemic. Boracay Island, a thriving tourist resort, now has a committed group of volunteers: the "Butterfly Brigade". They are helping raise awareness and eliminate discrimination, while spreading the message that sex should be safe.
