From January through October 2019, Turkey's cement exports increased by 18.3 percent, compared to the same period in 2018, and exceeded $2.9 billion, Trend reports referring to the Turkish Trade Ministry.
Cement exports during this period accounted for 2 percent of Turkey's total exports.
In October 2019, Turkey's cement exports increased by 13 percent, compared to October 2018, and exceeded $295.5 million, which was 1.8 percent of Turkey's total exports.
During the past 12 months (October 2018 - October 2019), Turkey's cement exports grew by 16.4 percent, compared to the same period in 2017-2018, and amounted to over $3.4 billion.
From January through October 2019, Turkish exports grew by 1.6 percent, compared with export figures for the same period in 2018, amounting to $137 billion.
In October 2019, Turkish exports decreased by 0.3 percent compared to October 2018, amounting to $15.2 billion.
