Opening ceremony of a new experimental research and testing facility of the design institute of SOCAR took place in the Surakhani district of Baku, said the message released by the State Oil Company Sept.17.
The opening ceremony was attended by President of SOCAR Rovnag Abdullayev.
The facility created for production of reagents and equipment for wells covers an area of 2.1 hectares.
"A plant for the production of reagents and production facilities, office building, boiler, rig for the production of reagents and inhibitors, a warehouse for the storage of raw materials and finished products and a closed area for the production of various tools used during the development and repair of wells will operate on the territory of the facility," the message said. "The capacity of the plant for production of reagents amounts to 30 tons per day."
In general, production of various goods for drilling, production and processing enterprises of SOCAR is envisaged on the new experimental research and testing facility.
