The Georgian President considers assessment of local elections held May 30 in Georgia by the NATO Secretary-General important. "Anders Fogh Rasmussen called the election fair, and it is a clear assessment of our elections," Mikheil Saakashvili said at the government meeting.

The President stressed that "the elections have passed and now it is time for construction and creation."In the next two years there will be no elections, and although I can not say that they will be calm, but these twenty months will be stable and we will have the opportunity to work" he said.

Parties wishing to seize power do not think about peace in the country, but authorities are able to ensure stability.

Saakashvili believes that after the elections, Georgia can get even more trust from investors and receive financial investments. "These two years we should use for the implementation of significant reforms," he said.

Saakashvili underlined that in the next two months there will be no time for rest both for the government, and the parliament. "I ask you to work more, because the Government needs to prepare, and the Parliament to take such important laws as an act of freedom, the tax code," Saakashvili said, expressing hope that it will all be done before the end of July.

It was said that new tax code will be fully prepared after consultation with businessmen and the Customs Department.
