Greece is always ready to assist Azerbaijan in the military sector, Greek Ambassador to Azerbaijan Ioannis Metaksas told journalists on Feb. 25.
A draft agreement on military cooperation is being developed between the two countries, he said.
Greece is ready to expand cooperation with Azerbaijan in the proposed fields, Metaksas said.
Azerbaijani-Greek cooperation is envisaged in the NATO Partnership for Peace program.
Azerbaijani officers attend various refresher courses.
Azerbaijan signed military and technical cooperation agreements with over 20 countries and cooperates with over 50 countries in this field.
