Azerbaijani, Georgian frontier guards expand cooperation

The Georgian Interior Ministry Frontier Police and the Azerbaijani State Frontier Service have discussed bilateral cooperation in Baku.

The sides have discussed the prospects of cooperation and the situation in check points. The Georgian delegation was headed by Interior Ministry Frontier Police Chief Zaza Gogova. The significance of further joint actions against international terrorism, illegal migration, and smuggling and to preserve the high level of cooperation among frontier services of the two countries was the subject of discussions.

A protocol was signed as the result of the meeting.
