Conducting training in Azerbaijan for the chairpersons of constituencies is very important for solving problems arising during the elections, Mazahir Panahov, chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Azerbaijan, briefed the media on September 11.
On September 7, the CEC launched a specialized training on election law for the chairpersons of the constituencies. On September 11, the last day of the training, participants were given certificates. During the training, reports were made by directors of departments of the Presidential Administration, the Deputy Interior Minister, members of the CEC and representatives of other state institutions.
According to Panahov, as a result of similar events in recent years, progress has been achieved, and the work of electoral bodies sufficiently improved. "This, in turn, gives a guarantee that the next elections will be held at a high level," he said.
