The Turkish Prime Minister's statements both in Turkey and at the U.N meetings, as well as the discussion of the issue on establishment of the diplomatic relations with Armenia at a meeting with Obama, is evidence that the Turkish political elite have made a decision on the Armenian issue. The agreement is expected to pass the parliament due to the fact that the Turkish political elite owns majority at the parliament, deputy chairman of the pro-government Ana Vatan Party, Zahid Oruj, told Trend News on Sept. 28.

Azerbaijan, Baku, Sept. 28 / Trend J.Babayeva /

Azerbaijan's MPs have differently predicted the approval of the agreement on establishment of the diplomatic relations with Armenia at the Turkish parliament.

The Turkish Prime Minister's statements both in Turkey and at the U.N meetings, as well as the discussion of the issue on establishment of the diplomatic relations with Armenia at a meeting with Obama, is evidence that the Turkish political elite have made a decision on the Armenian issue. The agreement is expected to pass the parliament due to the fact that the Turkish political elite owns majority at the parliament, deputy chairman of the pro-government Ana Vatan Party, Zahid Oruj, told Trend on Sept. 28.

The Turkish prime minister says Turkey and Armenia will sign a deal to establish diplomatic ties on Oct. 10, Erdogan told Trend in an exclusive interview. Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Sunday that the deal would be signed by the countries' foreign ministers, but it must be approved by the countries' parliaments before taking effect.

According to Oruj, there are some milestones that prevent Azerbaijan from taking strict measures. "The fact that the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict occupies one the important places at the Turkey-Armenia negotiations, is one of the reasons choking Azerbaijan off making strict protests. The documents may reflect this issue or there might be another document. Currently, it is difficult to predict, "Oruj added.

Azerbaijan should establish an alternative policy in case Turkey takes steps, Chairman of the pro-opposition Great Establishment Party, Fazil Gazanfaroglu told Trend .

The adoption of this document is not important. Armenia does not have political will to complete this process. Turkey also does not intend to complete this. Definite process began to gain support of the U.S and France and neither Turkey not Armenia may complete this process, the MP added.

Approval of the agreement on establishment of the diplomatic relations with Armenia at the Turkish parliament is impossible, Gazanfaroglu said.
