All regions with any conflicts always have the potential for terrorism, Raphael Perl, OSCE head on anti-terrorism issues, said.
He said that the South Caucasus region is not an exception.
"There is real potential for terrorism in the South Caucasus, as the protracted conflicts and their circumstances are one of terrorists' tactics," he said at the final press conference after the OSCE international conference on terrorism prevention.
Astana held the expert conference on successful strategies and effective policy and best practices to prevent terrorism on October 14 -15.
