Azerbaijani Embassy in Jordan continues to work as usual, said the Azerbaijani ambassador to Jordan Elman Arasli, a source at the embassy told Trend.
The ambassador said the situation in Jordan is stable, there are no unrest, riots, robbery in the country. Authorities fully control the situation in the country.
The ambassador noted that the lives of embassy staff and their families, as well as Azerbaijani citizens living in Jordan are not in danger. Protection of buildings of state institutions and the streets of the capital is in normal regime. Airports are operating normally, tourists continue arriving in the country.
The ambassador said, for several weeks, after Friday prayers, a group of persons conduct peaceful rallies, voicing their demands. The rallies continue a few hours, after which people go home. Dissatisfaction of these people is not directed against the ruling regime in the country or the ruling dynasty, but mainly against the government, the ambassador said.
