Nobody of Azerbaijani MPs did not address to the Internal Affairs Ministry to receive duty arm, Ehsan Zahidov, the employee of the press service of the Ministry, told Trend.
He noted that evidently MPs did not need of it. It should be mentioned that in accordance with the Law on status of deputies, every MP is eligible to bear arm to provide his safety. They must address to the Internal Affairs Ministry in this regard.
Fazil Gazanfaroglu, the chairman of the Great Establishment Party, noted that he was thinking of it. It is important for my security. Ill address to appropriate instances to receive the arm, he stressed. MP Ali Masimov said that he did not think of it. The deputy stated that he did not want to discuss the issues related to bearing of arm. MP Igbal Agazade, the chairman of Umid Party, also answered that he did not address to anybody in this regard.
