Ogtay Assadov, Speaker of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijan's Parliament) is expected to visit Saint-Petersburg on November 16-17, a source in the Parliament told Trend.
The aim of the visit is to participate in the regular sitting of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly. Issues on improving and reforming CIS, 15th anniversary of CIS, perspectives and results of the cooperation within CIS are expected to be discussed during the forthcoming meeting. A number of documents are expected to be approved as well. A meeting of the Caucasian quartet Speakers of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, and Russia are expected within the forthcoming meeting as well.
