Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr K. Zarbaliyeva / Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on supplements in the decree on application of the Law on State Secret dating from the 5th of November, 2004.
The new decree provides the insertion of a new item in the Law. Item 3.6 states that interdepartmental control over the protection of State Secrets in the systems, information networks and communications of state and other facilities shall be implemented by Special State Protection Service within the framework of its authorities.
Item 3.5 of the Law on State Secrets states that the authorities of relative executive bodies provided by Item 32.1 shall be undertaken by the National Security Ministry of the Azerbaijan Republic.
