On May 1, a final stage of the Azerbaijani basketball championship started, the Ministry of Youth and Sport told Trend .
The next match between the Baku Gala team and Nakhchivan Araz will take place at the Olympic Sport Complex in Baku at 17:00 on May 1.
The next matches between these teams will take place on May 16-17 (two matches) at the Olympic Sport Complex in Nakhchivan.
Under the rules, a winner of the championship will be a team which can gain three victories at 5 matches of a final stage. The first match between these teams took place on April 18 and resulted in Gala's victory.
If a score is 2:2 after these matches, a winner will be specified at the last match to be held at the Zagatala Olympic Sport Complex in late May.
