USAID implements project to improve ‘energy opportunities’ in Georgia

Universities, participating in the “Project of improving energy opportunities", will present their energy sector-based educational programs at the “Forum of employment” to private and public companies, according to the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

Universities, participating in the "Project of improving energy opportunities", will present their energy sector-based educational programs at the "Forum of employment" to private and public companies, according to the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

Talking to Trend, the agency told that the forum was aimed at establishing closer ties between university students and companies operating in the energy sector, contributing to the future employment of students.

According to the USAID, the "Project of improving energy opportunities" was aimed at preparing highly qualified specialists for the energy sector, with the creation of higher educational programs being one of the main tasks of the project.

The "Forum for employment" will be attended by representatives of universities, energy companies as well as the Energy Ministry.

The Forum will be held on Dec.21 at the "Sheraton Metechi Palace" Hotel.
