Azerbaijani Citizen Released in Ankara

Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend , corr A. Alaskarov / The Azerbaijani citizen E.N.A that was earlier arrested in the city of Ankara and detained for three weeks has been declared innocent and consequently released.

Acording to the Trend reporter in Ankara, he was accused of attempted rape of a Bahchelievler Orphanage nurse, 35-year old Z.Ch. He also was accused of commiting a crime against the 37-year old supervisor M.U.

The court failed to charge the defendant, one of the reasons being that when E.N.A was arrested, the Turkish police officers misinterpreted his testimony speech in the Azerbaijani language.

E.N.A. is a father of four children and went to Turkey in order to find a job. The police are still pursuing the real criminal.
