BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 18. Volume of agricultural production in Azerbaijan in actual prices amounted to 1.1 billion manat ($647 million) from January through March 2022, which is 3.4 percent more than the same period 2021, Trend reports citing a report by the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Production in the livestock sector in Azerbaijan increased by 2.8 percent during this period, compared to 1Q2021, amounting to 1.08 billion manat ($635.3 million) and in sphere of crop production by 14.4 percent - up to 67.8 million manat ($39.9 million).
Azerbaijan produced 134,300 tons of meat, 493,300 tons of milk and 476.6 million chicken eggs from January through March 2022. The production of meat increased by 2.9 percent, milk - by 1.9 percent, chicken eggs - by 2.7 percent compared to 1Q2021.
