BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 1. According to the results of the second quarter of 2023, the International Bank of Azerbaijan took first place in terms of the loan portfolio in Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
According to the bank's quarterly balance sheet, the volume of the bank's loan portfolio amounted to about 4.2 billion manat ($2.5 billion).
Kapital Bank took the second position in the ranking with a total loan portfolio of 3.5 billion manat ($2.1 billion).
In third place is PASHA Bank, with a loan portfolio of over 2.7 billion manat ($1.6 billion).
In general, the loan portfolios of the first five banks of Azerbaijan amount to about 13.3 billion manat ($7.8 billion), and the total volume of the portfolio of all banks exceeds 21.3 billion manat ($12.5 billion).

According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, the net profit of the banking sector as of June 30, 2023, increased by 41 percent to 563.3 million manat ($331.4 million).
