ASTANA, Kazakhstan, November 20. Budapest is now hosting President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's official welcoming ceremony, Trend reports.
The iconic Lions' Square of the Royal Palace in Budapest hosted the official ceremony to welcome President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who is currently on a state visit to Hungary.
The President of Kazakhstan was welcomed with bells and whistles by the military band, and Prime Minister Viktor Orban was on hand for the occasion.
The commander of the honor guard rolled out the red carpet with a greeting report, and the national anthems of Kazakhstan and Hungary rang out like a bell in the air. Then the honor guard and the mounted guards paraded in a ceremonial procession, putting their best foot forward. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Viktor Orban rolled out the red carpet as they introduced the members of their official delegations to one another.
To note, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan, arrived in Budapest yesterday evening, when he was greeted by Prime Minister Viktor Orban at the airport. Subsequently, the two leaders observed a football match between the Hungary and Germany teams, which concluded in a 1-1 stalemate. Prior to his arrival in Hungary, Tokayev had an official visit to Serbia.
