"However, there was not any big contract. We realized delivery of pumps and gas concrete, installation of repairs of chink, centrifuge, different spare parts under several agreements in 2007," Aleksander Artukhov, the director of marketing and foreign economic activity department of the company, said.
Sumsk MBSPA is one of the largest machine building complexes in Europe in oil, gas and chemical industry equipments. Equipment is supplied from Ukraine, but Baku branch of the enterprise carried out work on signing of agreements in Azerbaijan. Artukhov said. The enterprise was established in 1896 and its branch in Azerbaijan established in 2002.
The company built a compressor station North with power 6.3 MVt on Absheron during three months in 2002.
In 2005 the company built gas compressor station in Astara, in Azerbaijan's border with Iran. The station was built for increase of pressure delivered to Iran gas from 22 to 55 atmosphere. Its total power is 3mln cu m of gas a day.
The enterprises also participated in building, reconstruction and modernization of chemical enterprises in Sumgait.
