Green Party of Georgia published a list of GM products that are currently sold on the Georgian market.
According to the statement of the party, the analysis of these products is held at the initiative of the Russian Party of "green" at the Moscow Institute of Cytology. Mainly meat, fish and other products made in Russia were blacklisted.
The list of companies that produce genetically modified products include such meat plants as Mikoyan, Cherkezovsky, Kampomos, Klinsky, Daria - semi-finished and others.
One of the largest distribution companies Kant delivered Mikoyan products to Georgia.
The company Kant stated that the production of Mikoyan meat plant is supplied to countries where production control is much stricter than in Georgia, but GM products weren't found in none of them.
