An Azerbaijani producer of alcoholic beverages, Sharg-1 CO LLC, has completely ceased operations, a source close to the company told Trend.
The source noted that the company had already started operating in half capacity at the end of 2017, and last year it almost stopped.
"Presently, the production at the enterprise has been completely suspended. The main reason for this was the financial difficulties. Previously, the company produced a wide range of alcoholic beverages," the source said.
The source added that a couple of years ago the company's products were exported to neighboring Georgia.
