Volume of investments per capita in Uzbekistan amounts to $11.6 B

The Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan published information on the volume of investments per capita of Uzbekistan in the first half of 2019, Trend reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry.

In the first half of this year, the total investment disbursement amounted to 100.7 trillion soums ($11.6 billion) with the forecast period being fulfilled 2.1 times.

For investment and infrastructure projects implemented with the participation of foreign investments and loans, the disbursement of funds amounted to $5.6 billion, including foreign investment and loans guaranteed by the state - $2.1 billion and foreign direct investment and loans - $3.5 billion.

In turn, the calculation of the volume of investments per capita for the total amount of investment utilization was 3 million soums (or $347 in equivalent), including foreign investments and loans guaranteed by the state - $61.7 and foreign direct investments and loans - $105.

At the end of this year, the total investment per capita is expected to be 4.2 million soums (or $490 equivalent), including foreign investment and loans guaranteed by the state - $84 and foreign direct investment and loans - $188.
