MAN Auto-Uzbekistan company transferred a batch of new MAN RR3 intercity buses to the Toshshahartranskhizmat JSC authorized passenger transport management authority of Tashkent, Trend reports with reference to Uzbekistan’s Uzavtosanoat JSC car manufacturing company.

“Today, 18 buses were shipped from the company’s service and dealership in the Samarkand,” read the message.

The MAN Auto-Uzbekistan joint Uzbek-German enterprise was established on August 9, 2009.

From the Uzbek side, the founder of the enterprise was the Uzavtosanoat joint-stock company, from the German side the partner was MAN Truck & Bus AG, one of the leading international suppliers of trucks and motor transport services.

JV MAN Auto-Uzbekistan JV began mass production of intercity and tourist buses at the production facilities of the plant in the Samarkand region since 2018. The production facilities of the plant allow producing more than 100 such buses per year.

Today, the Uzbek auto industry is one of the most dynamically developing sectors of the country's economy, an example of the export ability of Uzbekistan and plays an increasingly important role in the development of the country's foreign economic activity.
