The National Iranian Copper Industries Company (NICICO) produced 91,080 tons of cathode copper during the first four months of the current Iranian year (March 20 - July 21, 2020), Managing Director of the company Ardashir Sad Mohammadi said, Trend reports referring to the company’s website.
Sad Mohammadi said that this is shown that the production is 8 percent ahead than the envisaged plan.
He added that 121,200 tons of anode copper were produced. This means that production is 12 percent ahead than the envisaged plan.
The director noted that Sarcheshmeh Copper Complex produced about 58,000 tons of cathode copper. This means that production surpassed the initial production plan by 2 percent.
The Khatunabad Copper Complex produced about 33,000 tons of cathode copper in four months - 6 percent more than the envisaged plan.
The company's cathode copper production was 22,070 tons in the 4th month of current Iranian year (June 21-July 21, 2020). This is an increase of 12 percent over the initial production plan.
The company produced 29,600 tons of anode copper in the fourth month - 14 percent more than envisaged plan.
