The activities of 16 industrial enterprises in the Hormozgan Province (southern Iran) were resumed during the first five months of the current Iranian year (from March 21 through August 22, 2021), head of the Industry, Mine, and Trade Organization of Hormozgan Province Ayyoub Rahimi said, Trend reports citing the organization.
Rahimi said that in this regard, a total of 65.8 billion rials (about $1.57 million) has been spent on these enterprises and as a result, 158 people have been employed.
The official added that these enterprises operate mainly in the metal, non-metal, and food industries. Seven of these enterprises are in Bandar Abbas County and 9 in other counties.
“While in the last Iranian year (from March 20, 2020, through March 20, 2021), the activities of 44 enterprises in the Hormozgan Province were resumed. These enterprises operate in the metal, non-metal, food, and chemical industries,” he said.
According to Rahimi, ensuring liquidity, removing enterprises from the ownership of banks, appointing a new investor, changing the production structure of the enterprise has resulted in the resumption of the activities of these enterprises.
