TEHRAN, Iran, June 22. Iran is increasing power export to Pakistan's Balouchestan Province, Trend reports citing IRNA.
Iran's Power Generation and Distribution Company (TAVANIR) and Pakistan National Transmission & Dispatch Company (NTDC) signed an agreement for increasing export to 100 megawatts.
The agreement was signed during the Pakistan Energy Minister Khurram Dastagir Khan's visit to Tehran.
The Pakistani official has pointed out in a statement that TAVANIR and the NTDC will complete the deal as soon as possible, thus allowing to reduce power crisis in Balouchestan Province.
