The Head of the Turkish Standards Institute Kerim Malatyali arrived in Baku, Trend reports.
According to the Head of the Institute, the visit aims at discussing the prospects of the development of the co-operation between Azerbaijan and Turkey in the sphere of standardization.
We have long history of co-operation. We are going to expand this co-operation and exchange experiences, he said.
Malatyali said that Turkey is very interested in co-operation with Azerbaijan and if necessary, certain co-operation agreements may be signed to strengthen the co-operation.
In addition, we will hold and continue the discussions regarding Turkish assistance to Azerbaijan in fulfilling the requirements of the World Trade Organization to increase the quality of the products manufactured in the country, he said.
