Azerbaijan, Baku, 26 May / Trend / About 359mln KWt/h electricity has been generated in the cascade of the Shamkir hydroelectric power station in first quarter of 2008 against the forecasted 327mln KWt/h, Azerenerji said on 26 May.
Some153mln KWt/h electricity has been generated in April, against 128mln KWt/h in the same period of 2007. Some 102mln KWt/h of the generated electricity accounts for Shamkir hydroelectric power station and the remaining 51mln KWt/h for the Yenikand hydroelectric power station.
