Iranian refinery to boost petrol production capacity

Iran's Bandar Abbas refinery will increase its petrol production to 13 million liters a day, Mehr news agency quoted the refinery's top official as saying.

The refinery, which began operating in 2007/1008 has increased its refining capacity to 320,000 barrels per day (bpd), Hashem Namvar, the managing director of the Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company (BAORCO), said.

A project on increasing the refinery's petrol production capacity is under completion. When it is done, the Bandar Abbas refinery's petrol production capacity will increase from 10 million liters to 13 million liters a day.
