Azerbaijan's trunk gas pipelines are expected to transport about 37.8 million tons of gas (in liquid equivalent) in 2023, which is 66.5 percent more compared to the forecast for the current year, Trend reports referring to a government source.
According to the Azerbaijan's state budget forecast, it is predicted that this year 22.7 million tons of gas will be transported through trunk gas pipelines.
Furthermore, according to the forecasts, in 2020, 27.4 million tons of gas will be transported via trunk pipelines.
In 2021 and 2022, this figure will slightly increase and amount to 32.7 million tons and 35.5 million tons of gas, respectively.
