Turkmenistan has commissioned a new gas field - Agarguyu, Trend reports referring to Turkmen media.
Two wells were drilled at the field, from which valuable hydrocarbon products were obtained.
The work was carried out as part of the implementation of the "Program for the development of the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan for the period up to 2030".
At present, more than 300,000 cubic meters of natural gas is sent daily from the Agarguyu field to the Turkmenistan-China transnational gas pipeline.
It is reported that the drilling operations of a production well, the design depth of which is 3,300 meters, are at the final stage. Drilling work is scheduled to be completed by the end of this year.
