ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, February 29. Azerbaijan purchased 37,584 tons of kerosene for jet engines from Turkmenistan for the entire year 2023, Trend reports.
Data from the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan shows that during the specified period, kerosene for jet engines imports from Turkmenistan exceeded the 2022 figure by 3.5 percent (36,306 tons).
In value terms, Azerbaijan's imports of kerosene from Turkmenistan for the whole of last year amounted to $20.3 million, which is 48.2 percent less than in the same period of 2022, when it amounted to $39.2 million.
In general, for the whole of 2023, Azerbaijan purchased kerosene for jet engines only from Turkmenistan.
Meanwhile, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan for the whole of 2023 reached $773.9 million, which is 44.5 percent more than in the same period of 2022 ($535.39 million).
