The Speaker of Iran Parliament Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf has announced the parliament's commitment to support, strengthen and stabilize the stock exchange and capital markets, Trend reports via IRNA.
He said the latest session of the parliament focused on discussions and issues related to capital markets and the stock exchange.
He stated that the parliament has given priority to economic issues.
"Especially in recent days, the stock exchange issue was reviewed in economic commissions of the parliament, and the result was a meeting with the Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance and the Governor of the Central Bank,” he added.
He went on to say that the Parliament tries to guide liquidity towards the stock exchange and production.
“This attitude will lead to complete industrial and commercial projects and boost production,” he said. “The capital of the people should be protected and in this regard, we will provide the necessary assistance to stabilize the stock market.”
