The volume of premiums paid by Azerbaijani insurance companies increased from January through August 2021, Trend reports via Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
Payments increased by 76.8 million manat ($45.1 million), or 29.2 percent, from 263 million ($154.7 million) to 339.8 million manat ($199.8 million) in the specified period.

There are 20 insurance companies and one reinsurance company operating in Azerbaijan today. The licenses of Amrah Sığorta, AXA MBASK, Standard Insurance and Rəvan Sığorta insurance companies were canceled.
