BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 7. The liquidity in Iran increased by 38.2 percent at end of the 1st month of the current Iranian year (April 20, 2022), compared to the end of the same month of the last Iranian year, Trend reports via the statistics of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI).

According to the statistics, the liquidity in Iran amounted to 48.2 quadrillion rials (about $1.14 trillion) at the end of the 1st month.

"Meanwhile, in the same period of the last Iranian year, this figure stood at 34.9 quadrillion rials (about $831 billion)," the statistics said.

Furthermore, the share of money in liquidity was 9.52 quadrillion rials (about $226 billion) at the end of the 1st month. This is an increase of 44.1 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year. Thus, the share of money in liquidity amounted to 6.6 quadrillion rials (about $157 billion) in the same period last Iranian year.

According to the statistics, the share of near-money in liquidity was 38.7 quadrillion rials (about $921 billion) within the mentioned period. This is an increase of 36.8 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year.

So, the share of near-money in liquidity amounted to 27.3 quadrillion rials (about $673 billion) in the same period last Iranian year.
